Virginia’ s composition
A parents association in Francia came out on general strike a few weeks ago. They wanted to abolish their children’s homework because they thought that it was useless and it created inequalities between children.
Do you agree with it?
On the one hand, if homework are abolished, we will have more free time and we will be able to do more extramural activities. In addition, many teachers send a lot of homework and afterwards, pupils get anxious.
On the other hand, if homework are abolished, pupils won’t learn enough.
Nowadays in order to work it is necessary be very well-educated. For this reason, if teachers didn’t send homework, we wouldn’t be well-educated and we wouldn’t be able to work.
Finally, I don’t agree with the parents association. I think that homework are necessary to be well- educated and they aren’t useless because they help us learn.
Remember, HOMEWORK is always singular.

The composition of Virginia is very good, but there is a mistake :"I don't agree"->"I disagree". I disagree with Virginia, because I think that the homework isn't neccesay because if a person want to learn, this person do the impossible in order to learn.
ResponderEliminarPaqui says that "I don't agree" is a mistake but I believe that this form is correct too. I didn't found any mistake but maybe I would have written a different question in the introduction. I agree with your opinion because I think that homework is necessary for learning but it is true that sometimes teachers send too many homework (with some unnecessary exercises) and this time that we are doing homework, we could be studying.

ResponderEliminarTo my mind, I think that homework is useful to us when it is related with our exams, however sometimes teachers give children a lot of homework and works which are useless because they are so easy.
In addition, I stongly believe that teachers should assing children less homework to holiday because holidays are to enjoy themselves. Happy EASTER!

EliminarMaybe you are right about holiday homework,I also got loads of homework from my German teacher (three readings, two listenings, one composition and several grammar exercises!!!) I'll think twice next time I assign homework to my students!!

ResponderEliminarI am in favour of Virginia. The homework is very important so to study and to understand the lesson. Many parents are left to go for what your children tell them. They do not understand that any children lie to do what they want and not what they must do.
ResponderEliminarI agree with Paqui, The homework to holiday should be optional, because a responsible and adult person know if you have to review some matter. The theory isn't the most important, also is the practise.

I agree with you, Alejandra. The homeworks are very important to learn and also to know to do the problems and others things. Your composition is very good strucutred with introdution, things agree and things disagree and conclusion
ResponderEliminarI see your point but I desagree with you. I think homework are a waste of time, they takes you a lot of time to finish them and they're boring !! The best would be that they were optional.
