Are national festivities good for Spain ?
Spain has a lot of types of national festivities, like New Year's Eve or 'La Purisima'. But, are this parties good or bad ?
There are many reasons to think they ara good. At these days, the people don't have to go to work or something like this. Another arguments in favour could be that we remember an important succes who happened in the past , such as the 6th of December, where we celebrate the spanish constitution or religious events, like the 15th of August, the Virgin's day.
These are the good things, but, are they bad for Spain ? Only one thing could be 'bad', and this will be the large multinationals take advantages of this parties, like in Christmas, where we always buy presents for our family.
On balance, I think they are necessary, because, above all, we can rest of the routine without staying on holidays and it also is good because we remember our traditions.

I agree with Mario because I think that national holidays are very good to take a break from the routine of every day but I also think that multinationals get much benefit from these parties. In almost all parties it away and people buy gifts for their families.
